Educations
Bruno dos Anjos Bartsch is a PhD student in Soil and Plant Nutrition at the University of São Paulo’s Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (ESALQ-USP) and a doctoral fellow supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). His research focuses on integrating remote sensing, soil spectroscopy, geotechnologies, and machine learning for digital soil mapping and large-scale soil monitoring. His work particularly explores bare soil surface mapping, spectral harmonization, soil organic carbon dynamics, and hydromorphic soil mapping to support environmental monitoring and sustainable land management. Bruno has experience working with proximal and satellite sensing, spectral data processing, chemometric corrections, machine learning models, and large-scale environmental datasets. His computational background includes R, Python, and JavaScript for Google Earth Engine, which he applies to geospatial analysis, remote sensing workflows, and large-scale image processing.
