Caue Leal

Caue Leal is an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the UF/IFAS Southwest Florida Research and Education Center, working under the supervision of Dr. Nikolaos Tziolas. He is pursuing a B.S. in Informatics and Analytics at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). His current work applies remote sensing and geospatial analysis to agricultural monitoring, including a project using Sentinel-2 satellite imagery to assess frost damage across sugarcane management areas in the southern Lake Okeechobee region of Florida. His interests center on the intersection of data analytics, machine learning, and soil and crop science.
