Tad Trimarco

Tad Trimarco received his PhD from Colorado State University in Soil and Crop Sciences in May of 2025. His past work focused on the connections between soil health, water quality, and economics in conservation agriculture systems. His current work as a Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Florida builds upon this expertise to evaluate both environmental and economic resilience to drought in integrated crop-livestock systems, with the continued objective of improving policy design to support farmer best management practices.  Tad’s continued goals are to marry sound agricultural science with grounded farmer perspectives to guide holistic policy design. Tad’s work utilizes a variety of tools including crop modelling, economic simulations, and traditional soil health assessments, all of which are supported and improved with emerging AI technologies.
